The Total Garage Store currently has five locations: Knoxville, Nashville, Jackson, Clarksville and Bowling Green, KY. We are one of the largest garage door dealers in Tennessee. Green Garage Doors
As a reflection of our industry expertise, our staff has worked with the HGTV and DIY networks over the last five years, gaining national television exposure for new garage doors. We have worked with HGTV on a national program featuring “green garage doors.” A green garage door is better for the environment, and our doors meet these criteria by providing high energy efficiency, long life, low maintenance and uncompromising beauty. To meet the growing demand for green products, we primarily sell garage door operators with DC motors. A DC motor uses 85% less electricity than a standard garage door operator, making it a “green garage door operator”. It is also significantly quieter than traditional operators, and it is easier on the doors, as the starting and stopping speed on a DC motor are different than the run speed.
